If you haven't heard of Esperanza Spalding, you can say you heard about her on Stone! Enjoy!

Over the holidays we've been listening to a lot of music. Giving and receiving music is still by far one of the best gifts. Seems it never fails and people have a little more time to indulge when the holidays are in full swing.Stone Parliament of Art thinks you may enjoy the sound of Esperanza Spalding, that is if you've got an ear for jazz. Barely into her 20s, this bass virtuoso now teaches at Berklee College of Music. Almost immediately after graduation from college( 2005) Esperanza was hired by Berklee becoming one of the youngest professors in the institution's history.
Not only is Esperanza Spalding a whiz on bass, she also sings with a beautiful, multi-lingual lilt and exudes passion in every performance.
