Artists & Intellectuals Creating Domino's

It's a beautiful day! Tears are flowing...voices are singing. A beautiful vision!

FOAM DOMINO'S PAINTED BY ARTIST'S FROM ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY SYMBOLIZE THE OLD PATH...THE END OF COMMUNIST, FALLING OF THE BERLIN WALL AND END OF THE COLD WAR.

Hundreds of thousands of people are attending tonight’s event in which 1,000 giant domino pieces (made of fabric-covered polystyrene foam) will tumble as the Wall once did. The dominoes have been on display for two days, lined up over 1.2 km (0.75 miles) on the former site of the Berlin Wall from Checkpoint Charlie to the Reichstag.

The Goethe-Institute helped distribute the over-sized domino pieces around the world so they could be decorated by students, artists and intellectuals. Several public figures also decorated dominoes, including Barroso and European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek who will contribute to the toppling of the dominoes tonight.
