Sitting in the fog

You may have travelled many places. You may even considered yourself a 'global child' but tell me, have you ever sat in the fog and stared out into the mist for moments on end....your mind creating a picture of what lies beyond. You cannot see it, but you can feel it, this sense of mystery beyond. Those who have never experienced the beauty of a foggy day, may I suggest you try this exercise of mind. It will bring you peace and allow you to absorb that which lies within.

This global child has travelled far.
Distant places called home.
Roots grounded upon the earth setting in motion the soul.
Family and culture is all mankind.
Said journey's shaped who I am - changed - humbled me.
Different perspectives learned.
The beauty of going is coming back home.

“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.”
Henry Miller
