Exciting News Update
The New Orleans Film Festival will be pairing music Performances with Films this year and Canadian blues singer Rita Chiarelli will perform before Music from the Big House, a documentary in which she travels to Louisiana to visit musicians in Angola State Penitentiary. The screening is Tuesday, October 18 at 8 p.m. at the CAC.
SPoA had the opportunity of seeing this documentary (The Bookshelf,Guelph ON) a few months ago and the pleasure of meeting Rita at the after screening party.
